Simulate Your Taste Buds: Portuguese Chicken in Macau

Taken at O Porto Interior restaurant, Macau.

I had Portuguese Chicken in Hong Kong a while ago. It was at a small restaurant in a corner of Hong Kong, and the simple dish that had complex taste stuck in my head and taste bud for a long time. When I finally decided to travel to Macau, I thought ‘I have to have Portuguese Chicken in Macau.’ and I did, today. It was one of the most interesting meal I’ve ever had. Felt like I could eat it for lunch everyday.

Macanese cuisine is influenced by Portuguese and Southern Chinese. I had Chinese and Portuguese for two days, and can’t wait to try more variety cuisine.
